About Dr. Shah![]() Dr. Vijay H. Shah received his undergraduate, medical, and clinical training at Northwestern University. He obtained advanced clinical and research postdoctoral fellowship training at Yale University under the mentorship of Dr. William Sessa and Roberto Groszmann. He has maintained an NIH-funded program at Mayo Clinic for more than 10 years, which focuses broadly on hepatic vascular cell signaling. Relevant publications and NIH grant themes are available at PubMed and CRISP, respectively. Presently, Dr. Shah serves as the chair of research in Gastroenterology and the director of the Mayo Clinic Office of Postdoctoral Affairs. |
